crimethinc:
On November 25, at the urging of a far-right troll, Elon Musk banned the @crimethinc Twitter account.
Musk’s goal in acquiring Twitter had nothing to do with “free speech”—it was a partisan move to silence opposition, paving the way for fascist violence.

when you fuck up, you have to actually say “i really fucked this up & it’s on me” in order to be better. there’s no room for projecting or acting like a victim. no room for excuses or acting like you don’t care. you have to actually grow the fuck up & take responsibility for every consequence. there’s no growth without accountability.

“The hate mail and stuff, I can look past,” [Jerome Gunn] said, “but for them to come in here and damage my business …”
Someone
broke into Gunn’s business Wednesday night and set fire to the
building. He says those opposing his work in Black Lives Matter-Gadsden
are responsible.
“I definitely know it was a hate crime,” Gunn
said Thursday morning. “I get mail, so much that’s just hate, just
hateful.” He led a march Tuesday morning, he noted, calling for the
removal of the Emma Sansom monument.
“And then this happened.”
(quote and photo source)
This building was the host for multiple BLM-Gadsden events, efforts to feed houseless people in the area, brake light clinics, free store pop-ups, and many other community events in Gadsden, Alabama
We have to show these cowards that they can’t silence people power, that as a community we’re so much stronger than hate. Organizing like this is so massively important right now, especially here in the deep south. Please, please give what you can, and spread the word through all the channels available to you

“We have nothing but our freedom. We have nothing to give you but your own freedom. We have no law but the single principle of mutual aid between individuals. We have no government but the single principle of free association. We have no states, no nations, no presidents, no premiers, no chiefs, no generals, no bosses, no bankers, no landlords, no wages, no charity, no police, no soldiers, no wars. Nor do we have much else. We are sharers, not owners. We are not prosperous. None of us is rich. None of us is powerful. If it is Anarres you want, if it is the future you seek, then I tell you that you must come to it with empty hands.”
